Kelly Bernero began working for Great Lakes Capital Fund in February of 2011.  She returned to her hometown of Lansing to begin work after completing her undergraduate studies in Political Science and History at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and the University of Cape Town, South Africa.  As a specialist for GLCF's Advocacy and Communications efforts, Kelly brings over 4 years of experience in fundraising, event coordination and communications. 

Prior to joining GLCF, Kelly was a Marketing Representative for the Society of Environmentally Responsible Facilities. Kelly also serves as a Youth Representative on the Greater Lansing March of Dimes Executive Board; Assistant Sponsorship Director and Green Initiatives Director for the Lansing Marathon 2012.  She enjoys running, soccer, yoga, volunteering, traveling and time with loved ones.
