My Personal Life Vision is of a world where people reflect the best of the human spirit with and through others; a world where communities are characterized by integrity, accountability, and service. Working in communities gives us the opportunity to alter the very fabric of our society.

Denise Demers Stein is the Vice President of Community Leadership of the Great Lakes Capital Fund. While building and operating PMP Community, a successful leadership consulting organization, Denise founded the ART of Leadership Foundation, a 501(c)3 Non Profit organization dedicated to inspiring vision and leadership in young people, giving them the skills to succeed in their lives and to be leaders in the communities, Denise joined GLCF to offer leadership development programs for youth, families and residents, non profit agencies, local merchants and businesses, and Cap Fund Partners across the GLCF footprint. As a principal with PMP for over 20 years, Denise has worked with thousands of business people, supporting them in becoming more effective in leadership, management, and coaching and using these skills to create highly effective teams of people, fulfilling on their Personal Life Visions while pursuing the purpose of the enterprise. Denise is a founding board member of the Metro Detroit Mentor Collaboration, served as a founding member of Governor Jennifer Granholms Mentor Michigan Providers Council, helped to found and organize ARISE Detroit, and currently serves on the Detroit Medical Center Rehabilitation Institute of Michigans Board of Trustees, and the Detroit Institute of Arts Detroit Film Theatre Board of Directors.
