Rich Swantek joined Great Lakes Capital Fund in 1998 and serves as a Vice President of Asset Management, specializing in Asset Stabilization. Mr. Swantek, a CPA since 1980, is responsible for stabilization of the GLCF’s portfolio of tax credit and other multifamily low and moderate-income housing developments. Mr. Swantek manages risk in the portfolio and oversees the workout process on troubled developments. Mr. Swantek has been very successful in restructuring developments, which has preserved investor assets and maintained quality housing developments. Prior to joining GLCF, Mr. Swantek was controller of a regional office of a worldwide adverting agency and has held various positions with a multi-family real estate development company in Michigan, which developed, designed, constructed, and managed developments utilizing the low-income housing tax credit program. Mr. Swantek holds a BSBA from Central Michigan University.
